This design is a page from my artist's book "Reasons Not to Call Him" and reads "Because he lived in a seven person HMO with literal crackheads who were wanted by the police for bike theft."
Your signed print will be A4, but the image will be in the centre with a thick border, to match the original book pages which are 16.5 x 13.5cm.
This Design
This one, affectionally known as "the crackhead one" was a contributed story from a very good friend of mine. It's very disappointing when a man has a compromised living situation such as this one, and does not bode well. You don't want to cycle over there for some hanky panky to then discover they have stolen your bike whilst you were otherwise engaged.
Reasons Not to Call Him
Reasons Not to Call Him is a book of reasons reminding one to not call their ex's, situationship men, etc etc. It contains reasons from my own questionable dating history, and contributions from my friends and instagram followers.
The idea came from an original list that I made to convince myself not to call a particular ex, which I made in to an artwork by taping to a phone booth. The book is now a giant list of Reasons we should not be calling those men. There are only men in the book because I have only dated men at the moment.
The book was originally an ex-library book of vintage telephones. I have illustrated each page with its own reason using mainly posca pens. I hope you can find a Reason that resonates with you.
