POSE Weekender is an assemblage of phrases gathered by the artist during POSE 2024 (Portsmouth Open Studios Event). As a guest artist at The Pay Office in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard - home to SCT Creative House - the artist encountered hundreds of visitors, generating a rich body of overheard and exchanged language that informs the work.
The piece acknowledges the collaborative context of its making, situating it within the generosity of the POSE organisers and the support of The Pay Office’s resident artists.
